Woodbury Business Association Scholarship

Established February 15, 1998

By Randolph E. Richardson II

President Woodbury Business Association

The objectives of the Woodbury Business Association are to promote, foster and support the Woodbury business community; to enhance the well-being of the town of Woodbury and its business community; to promote mutual cooperation between the Town of Woodbury and its business community; and to promote cooperation among the members of the Association to safeguard and enhance the business climate in Woodbury.

Founded in 1988, the Woodbury Business Association is a voluntary organization comprised of local business owners and representatives. We serve a community-oriented function: our fund-raising efforts and scholarships provide favorable visibility for member businesses, and our annual James Clark Community Service Award honors residents for their volunteer efforts. We serve a business-oriented function: our meetings are forums for sharing knowledge and tips, and are excellent opportunities to network with fellow businessmen/women. Finally, we serve a socially-oriented function: our lively get-togethers combine great local food with interesting speakers and programs.

In addition to these benefits, membership in the Woodbury Business Association includes an invitation to attend meetings of the Southbury Business Association.

The Association’s website [] includes more details about the only organization solely dedicated to the well-being of Woodbury’s business/ community. Our business is your business!
